Bumper Challenge, 2017
The UFA turned 100 this year! On this special occasion, UFA LAB came together with YouTube and the Art Directors Club to start the first-ever „Bumper Ad Challenge“.
Art directors and creative talet from different ad agencies were asked to recreate a famous UFA film in a six second video – the length of the new YouTube Bumper Ad. An expert jury selected the winning ideas which were realized by UFA LAB. In the end, the jury reconvened to choose a winning Bumper Ad to be presented at the annual YouTube Festival in Berlin: Philipp & Keuntjes version of the UFA classic „The Three from the Filling Station“ (1930).
